Artspace City Center is a renovation of the historic ZCMI warehouse. Built in 1905, trains pulled in to the building on an interior track bisecting the warehouse -- which is now an interior courtyard and atrium with skylights.
Since our renovation in 2006, the 62,000 square foot former warehouse is now 18 affordable artist live/work townhouses and 20,000 square feet of commercial space. You might recognize our longtime anchor tenants on the first floor: Utah Arts Festival and Art Access.
City Center won the 2006 Outstanding Achievment Award from Utah State History and is a designated on the National Historic Registry.
We might be biased, but we think Artspace City Center is one of the most unique buildings in Salt Lake City. We hope you'll visit!
